The Tongue Chair was originally designed by Pierre Paulin in 1967
and resides in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art
in New York. Sinuous, flowing and playfully abstract, the
Tongue Chair mirrors the experimental period of the late 1960's and
exemplifies Paulin's desire to continually challenge the parameters
of domestic ergonomics.
