Guéridon Table
Jean Prouvé
Price: $2,810 (oak veneer top)

The Guéridon Table was designed by Jean Prouvé in 1949/50 for the
University of Paris. A clearly defined structural logic underlies
the selection and combination of materials. The tabletop is
supported by three wooden legs, connected by means of a triple-armed
steel brace. The sectional profile of the legs gracefully taper away
from the center bracket while bundling static stresses and
increasing structural integrity. Strong, bold and utilitarian, the
Guéridon is suitable for the most demanding residential or
commercial applications.
