Created in 1999 by Finnish designer Jukka Setala, the Fatboy
is a fun and functional modern alternative to the beanbag of
yesteryear. The vast, playful, and functional Fatboys are made from
a practical nylon material with a special coating for
easy cleaning and long term durability. The design can be used
as a lounge-bag in a student's room, a relaxing chair for the
office, a body pillow for children, or even a spare bed. As opposed to
traditional beanbags, the Fatboy features large dimensions - giving
the user plenty of room to sink in and completely drift away. Fatboys
also form to the contours of the user's body - allowing for natural
support and comfort in a wide range of positions.
